A client visited the Consulate General Chandigarh, India more than a month ago to collect some important document from there.
Here is the situation, I would like to know what happens in case the office holds onto someone's "residence status card".
In this case, the card was taken away saying that the "Stay in India has to be verified". When inquired about the timeline for the said verification,there was no clear response.
Can someone on this forum please suggest me how this case may be followed? If a similar situation has occurred with someone in this forum, can they please share their experience?
