Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello Folks,

I am currently on open work permit and working full time for a firm in Ontario, Canada. During the process of completing my Work History form under the Express Entry. I have noticed a section "Intended to work in Canada". I have the following questions -

1) Does XYZ have a written job offer? - Do I have to answer this as Yes or NO?

If YES, I have the below questions

2) Four digit NOC code of the current work permit? - What do I answer for this? I have an open work permit and no NOC mentioned on this.

Please provide me your valuable insights. Thanks in advance.

Thanks buddy. Also, if I get an invite and post submitting the application if my status changes from Single to Married? Will I be put back into the pool? As with spouse the points normally reduce.

Is there a specific link for forms related to adding a dependent to an already in process EE application?

You have to contact CIC and raise a CSE to tell them that your are married now. This will affect your existing score and the threshold at which you got the invite might change as well. It's better to check what points you will be at after you get married.

Do you have an LMIA and a written offer of {future} permanent employment upon receiving PR status? If you are on an open work permit, probably NO.

In the context of express entry, a "valid job offer" is not the same thing as currently working in Canada. See this page for the definition:

Hi Buddy,

I just came to see your post regarding "Work History" section -> subsection "Intended Work in Canada".
I am on post grad open work permit, currently working for Ontario Govt as full-time (permanent employee). My company is not providing LMIA, so my question is

Does XXX have a job offer in Canada?
YES/NO.
I'm really confused whether to put yes or no. I even called CIC, they said they don't have enough information regarding this question and suggested me go to cic website.
While creating your profile what did you fill up with this section.
Would you please respond to me after seeing this.

Thanks in advance,
pranayr

You should answer "no" - Here is how IRCC defines a "valid job offer"
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/offer.asp

You will hear about changes coming to the definition of valid job offer beginning November 19. But AFAIK right now, there will be no changes for PGWP holders. But you will gain some points based on your Canadian education.
