Help required- do i need a PCC for citizenship application

Landing in April 2019.....then went back to my home country India in July, then traveled to the USA for vacation(time spent in the USA was 43 days) then went back to India from the USA and traveled back to Canada. The total duration of time outside Canada on this trip is 214. But i was in USA for 43 days. 214-43 is 171. I was not in india in a row for 183 days but out of canada on this trip for 214 days. I have looked at some examples. do i need PCC? I am confused. any help would be appreciated

As per the application guide, since you have not spent 183 continuously in India after landing, you are not required to submit a PCC, and your application would be considered complete. However, an IRCC officer might ask for a PCC from India in the process of criminality check.

Leaning on the side of caution I would submit the application. Meanwhile apply for a PCC from India, just in case it is requested later on!

What you need to know is the applicability of obtaining a PCC from India, how long would it take to arrive, and how much it would cost you?
