Help Re Chinese Police Record Clearance

Hello There,

Last year in August I went back to China and got my PCC, I came back to Canada with it and have never gone back to China since last August.

Question:

1. If I apply for CEC under EE in the near future, let's say around April-May, can I use the PCC i got when i went back to China last August? Or do I have to go back to China again to get it this year?

2. If I go back to China during my application this year, let's say for 1-2 weeks, do I need another PCC for those 1-2 weeks time?

3. Is there an expiry date for PCC? (even though I have never gone back ever since)?

the pcc is valid for one year.
You are free to travel to China because it is your home country.
The schedule A does not ask you to enter the travel information for your home country.

awww it's only valid for a year? Even if I have never entered the country after I got my PCC? Does that mean as long as I provide my pcc to IRCC (assuming that i get an ITA before then and everything) by the expiry date with AOR then I will be ok?

Also, could you explain a little bit more about Schedule A since I haven't started creating my EE profile yet (but will be soon)...

I assume you went last August only for a visit. As long as the PCC was issued AFTER the last time you were a resident of that country, the PCC is valid indefinitely (it does not expire). This is explained on CIC/IRCC's website, you are much more likely to get bad information on this forum than from CIC/IRCC.

yes i went back to China last august for three weeks for a visit. So does that mean I am ok in terms of my PCC obtained last August when I went back (for a visit)?
