Hello :
I landed today @carway ,wasn't t too happy experience ,but anyways I got it done .
After I got home ,just realized ,I forgot tell the officer about my address (cuz I used lawyer for my
Immigration case ,and all the emails ,document and even my Ecase address is my lawyers )
Now i should told the border officer to send my PR card to my address ,not my lawyer's address !
But I didn't !!!!plus I don't wanna do anything with my lawyer anymore ,
So if u have same experience ,please help me out here ,what should I do now ?????

I think you should be able to call CIC and connect to their department which deals with PR cards and, be able to change your address. I had done it but, I had also not used a lawyer for my application.

Before I could change my address they asked info to validate my information. I do not know whether using a lawyer would affect validation process.

Hi xixi-wawa

I think you can change your address in e-cas if your landing date is not too long ago. There is an option in the e-cas..Its my opinion only no experience...

Congrats on the landing... and sad for the experience. I did my landing on 19th of this month in Carway and had a pleasant experience. I think, just like the VOs of CIC, the landing experience depends on the individual Border officers who attend to you.

And as mentioned here, you have an option to change your mailing address through the ECAS status page. Also, please call the CIC number and confirm whats the best thing to do.

Also, I have updated your case here http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/pr-landing-experiences-please-add-it-here-t168722.0.html;msg2660433#msg2660433 please feel free to add more info if you'd wish.
