Help pls re: going abroad to work whike waiting for the visa

hi im from the philippines and i my wife is petitioning me and filed our application last june 2013, i have now an offer to work in the middle east, can i grab this opportunity while waiting for my visa? i dunno if is it possible for me to tranfer embassy if i relocate to the middle east or send via mail my passport when the embassy ask for it? whats your thought?

You are allowed to be anywhere in the world with an outland app in progress, so this shouldn't be a problem.

They will not transfer your file to a new visa office, it will stay in Manila. If you update your mailing address, then any new correspondence by mail would go to your address in the middle east.

Just be prepared that when you have to send your passport for visa stamping (assuming you are not visa-exempt), then you will have to stay in middle east with no passport and basically unable to travel, until they return the passport to you.
