Help Please regarding passport that will expire soon and traveling.ASAP

I hope you can help me guys.. Im living here in canada and I want to travel back to the philippines but my passport will expire this october..Im planning to renew it in the philippines..can i still travel?Advice pls..

You can get your passport renewed in Philippines. Keep the old one together with the new while returning to Canada.
