Help Please ... !! Online trv for indian friend

Hi

I have apllied for a visitor visa online from canada for my friend in india.
I applied on 20 decmber and processing time is 39 days as per shown
In cic website ...

But i have seen many cases here getting visa in 4 5 days applying online
Is that pissible ??

Processing times for my country are more than 1,5 months. I applied online for TRV on dec 6 and I received an answer on dec 11. So it took just 4 business days to proceed the application. I was really surprised and did not expect it would be that fast. But I have quite a specific case, maybe that s why it was fast.
The only thing you and your friend can do is to wait and hopefully you will get the answer soon! Good luck!

There is a perception, that applications submitted online can be processed by any visa office in order to reduce the backlog. There is no official information about it though. I know some people, whose application were processed very fast by the office in Warsaw (processing times - 4 days), even though they weren't citizens of Poland and were applying online in their home country.
But typically applications are being processed by the home country (the one you choose in application as "country where applying"), even if they are online applications.
