Help! Please advise me what should we do after lost permanent resident card?

Help! Please help!
My PR card was stolen with my purse this morning, and I need to fly to US tomorrow morning,I wanna cry now , the flight can not be changed, what should I do now? Please advise

What passport do you hold? Are you a US citizen?

Get a travel document in the US or return to the Canadian border on foot or non-commercial vehicle and show your landing papers and current passport.

If you hold a visa exempted passport, you might be able to return to Canada by any commercial vehicle (such as air, bus)

i am a permanent resident of Canada, I hold Chinese passport.

You will have no problem leaving but as you have been told, you would either have to apply for a travel document in the US in order to fly back or you can fly to the US border and cross the border in a private vehicle or a rental car. Commercial carriers such as airlines, bus companies etc. will not transport you to Canada without a PR card, PR travel document or a valid visa.
