Dear Folks,

i got visa on ______________ college acceptance letter after reached Canada i changed my college so my question is do i need to inform Immigration officer that i change my college or not?

As far as I have read here. It is not required to inform CIC. You can study in any college once you are there.

You need to inform cic if there are any changes in your circumstances on which you based your visa application this includes change in collage.

i also asked my college's international student help advisor she said you don't need to inform CIC, now i am confuse

Use your brain. You change your collage without telling cic. Later you want to extend or change your status, do you think cic will be happy you changed collages without updating them?

"If you are a post-secondary student with a valid study permit, you do not need to submit an application if you want to change your program of study or the institution where you are studying."
