Hello guys, I'm a high school student that's supposed to visit my aunt in Canada in a few months.
I'm applying for a TRV.
I have already attached "Proof of Financial Resource of Supporter" where my aunt proved that she will be paying all of my expenses while I am in Canada.

Now the problem is "Proof of Means of Financial Support" - they're asking that I prove to them that I can cover my own expenses.

What is this nonsense? If she's paying for all of my expenses, that obviously means that I won't pay for them myself, so why are they asking for my bank drafts, etc.? I do not own a bank account yet, so I can't prove this.

What should I do?

Generally speaking we recommend that people demonstrate their own finances in addition to those of the person sponsoring them. If you have no funds to show, then I would recommend you show your parents'.

Would attaching my mother's bank drafts for the last 4 months (I will translate them) be fine?
