in question #8, in schedule 8 form. The following question was asked " are u or were u a recipient of one of the following bursaries granted by the government of Canada: studies in canada taken under an award from the canadian international development agency(CIDA)"
I actually came to canada under a program that was funded by canadian international development agency. This program lasted for six months and it was a community development, then after that, I decided to stay in canada and keep renewing my visa and studying further and since then, my visa has been renewing without any issues and i have been studying and paying fees as international student up till this time. I wonder whether previous bursary disqualifies me from applying under cec or will cic ask me to pay back the bursary or go back home and apply??? pls help me out
