Hi,

I am reapplying for my visitors visa which got rejected a week back. I need some help to complete the application form:

In the BACKGROUND INFORMATION section for "Have you ever been refused any kind of visa, admission, or been ordered to leave Canada or any other country?" - Do i need to select YES? I was never refused a visa before ever.

Thanks

Also in the section "Details of visit to Canada" do I need to mention the name and address of the homestay service that i will be using and also should I mention the college name and address that I will be attending for a short course? Please help!!

You were refused a canadian visa and that is why you are reapplying, right?

yes

Yes..i was refused the visa due to submission of incomplete documents. .I am reapplying with all necessary documents. So should I tick YES in that section?

Was your Visa refused, or was the application just merely returned to you? If the Visa was officially denied, you need to say yes and explain. If they returned your application because you didn't submit all the documents without denying the Visa, that's different. But a denial is a denial!

The letter says refused and a few reasons were given. It doesn't say that my application was returned. So if im mentioning YES then how detailed should the explanation be?

Say yes and list the reasons. Have these issues been resolved?

Yes..they have been..they were not sure if i would return as i did not attach employment details and also i had not attached my bank statement..Now i have attached a copy of a Legal Service bond with my employer, payslips, offer letter and appointment letter. And for my financials 3 months bank statement and copies of fixed deposits.

Okay then explain how the issues have been resolved in the explanation, if you wish. Whatever you feel is necessary to convince the officer that you are returning after the end of your trip. There's no "rule" for how detailed it should be, just as much as you feel is necessary to prove your point.

;)

Just write down "Refused due to lack of supporting documentation".
