Help Needed - Sponsoring an Egyptian Spouse

Hello!

I am a Canadian citizen and my fiancé lives in Egypt. We are planning on getting married soon and living in Canada together. I will be his sponsor. However, we are having some trouble with getting started on the application process. Where exactly should we start? Also, is it possible for us to get married in Canada and then begin the application process or would it be better for the wedding to take place in Egypt?
