VFS will not help to prepare the application, nor will they give advice for this. So, this won't work.

OP:
You could go through this forum for similar cases + check the Visa Office Instructions for Pakistan applicants. You will get an idea for the basic documents required. You can then post any specific questions
VFS does provide info on what documentation is required... I agree that they wont fill up the forms or prepare the application...

The VFS site links back to the CIC site. Not much help there :)

Also, VFS Pakistan has not been accepting most documents from Pakistan applicants that demonstrate strong ties such as property ownership, business, etc. It's best if the OP does a bit of research on his own to figure the list of documents

That's why I suggested him to speak with the VFS folks locally...

In my experience of interacting with VFS (for visas of different countries.... and not that I actively sought any advice from VFS), they are pretty much the last people who will give any sort of advice on how to prepare a visa application or even to suggest the documents that must be submitted.

VFS is only an intermediary to accept visa applications. Not sure why you believe that VFS will give him advice for the list of documents to be submitted or how to prepare a strong application. Maybe they helped you?

From the posts, it seems the OP wants a ready list of documents without investing at least some time/efforts

My experience has been quite different with VFS... I got all the info what I wanted too from various countries and for various countries...
But I also noticed previously that when there is an issue with visa that was provided/approved on the passport, they tend not to take any liability...

Really?!! That's good for you. Anyways.

Giving advice to how to prepare visa applications is NOT one of the services offered by VFS for any country that VFS accept/transmit visa applications

@Bryanna I’ve gone through the forums but i’m still unclear as to what is required and what are the extra documents i can provide to get approved. From my understanding, i will need
-proof of property ownership
-letter of leave from employent
-proof of permanent employment
-bank statements

What i’m unclear about is the hotel reservations, return ticket booking and bank statements.
From which period is it recommended to give bank statements and is there a set amount more favourable?
Am i to make the hotel and ticket bookings prior to submitting application and providing proof of these as well?
And i’ve read that people have included a day by day itinerary.
What i would like to know is what would help me build a strong application.

1. Do post the list of documents you intend to submit

2. What will be the length of your intended visit?

3. Have you traveled to other visa-required countries? No, your UK stay won't help because it was long-term.

Not required. Does not guarantee visa approvals.

4-6 months. Ideally longer to indicate stable finances.... not borrowed from anyone.... must match your income and tax returns.

Yes. it helps.

You would need to tell us. We won't be able to guess the reasons/your strong ties to Pakistan

Initially i planned for one month as i’m getting a month long vacation but as suggested will be planning for 2 weeks now.
I will be including the list of documents i mentioned;
-proof of ownership of property
-employment letter
-leave letter
-bank statements
My wife and daughter and my parents are in pakistan. I have a permanent job and the opportunity to start my own private practice here. I own a few properties. Would these reasons be considered strong enough ties to Pakistan?
And yes i haven’t travelled to any other country apart UK since i have been waiting to complete my specialisation which i have just done.

The list you have posted is very elementary and it doesn't prove your ties.

I again recommend you go through this forum for the comprehensive list of documents you need to submit for each of your strong ties (property, employment, financials, family, etc) + the Visa Office Instructions for Pakistan applicants

Alright. Thanks for all your help. I appreciate it.
