Help needed on Acronyms and Abbreviations used in this forum.

Hi Guys,

As a newbie, I find difficult to understand the Express entry language.

I may sound silly but can some please help with abbreviations and words like ECAS, outland, inland, AOR likewise.

ecas is electronic client applicant status:

https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do?app=ecas


inland means if you have applied from within canada
outland means from outside canada

AOR means Acknowledgement of Receipt i.e. after you submit your documents they give you AOR for conformation.
