Hello,
My partner and I have started putting our common-law sponsorship application together, but aren't sure if the proof of cohabitation we have is enough.
We met while traveling in Southeast Asia and then spent a year living together in Australia on working holiday visas. During our time abroad we would stay at many different hostels and airbnbs, sometimes only a couple of nights at one place.
We have records of these bookings, but sometimes we would only book the first couple of nights at a hostel online and then extend our stay at the reception which we have no record of. The longest period of time we spent living in one house was around 2,5 months.
So our question is, do we need to show proof of where we stayed every night during the year we traveled together to be considered common-law?
We also have all of our airplane tickets showing both our names and we can get letters from some of the people we spent a longer amount of time living with. We have both of our names on many airbnb reviews from people we've stayed with. We also completed many housesitting tasks and our housesitting profile states that we've been active for a year during our time in Australia. Additionally, we have Australian bank accounts showing the same address.
As you can see, our situation is a bit unusual but we would really appreciate if anyone could give us their opinion on whether this can be enough proof for our application. Thank you.
