help missing including birth certificate in citizenship package

HI everyone
I sent my application package but I missed to include the birth certificates of my kids in my citizenship package,I expect it to return it to me, so I am thinking to avoid this sely time and send complete package app with cover letter explaining that I have sent incomplete app and now I am sending a complete app to be considered.
what do you think anyone has heard about a case like this and what is your advice to me
