I am really having a trouble with my spouse whom i sponsored in spousal open work permit. Can i cancel the open work permit so my spouse can go back to our country of origin and not bug me anymore?

No, you can not "cancel" it, only CIC can do that. Since it is a spousal work permit, it is valid as long as you guys are still married or common-law. If you seperate or divorce and inform CIC, then they may or may not cancel the spousal work permit.

Note that your spouse can also get a work permit that is separate from you(through LMO from employer) and even if you divorce, she/he can still remain in Canada legally.

No. Agree with everything SenoritaBella said. Once she is in Canada, it's gonna be hard to get her outta here.
