I am a Canadian citizen and have been dating an American citizen for almost 2 years now. We need to be together on a perment basis but we dont know how to go about doing it all. He doesnt have allot of qualifications for jobs up here so it makes it really hard. I have heard moving there could be easier but he wants to live in Canada. How do we go about this? Would getting married help? Sponsorships or?

Easiest would be for you to sponsor him for permanent residency. In order to do this, you need to either be married or common law. Common law means you have lived together continuously for at least one full year.
