I am going to apply for Skilled workers and professionals PR.. So any tips will be help full for me. I took the online assesment and i scored 87....

How long does it takes to get it approved.. I am currently in US on L1B visa... will expire soon.... by october... Is there anyway i can get it before that...

Please any suggestion will be appreciated.....

thanks

new process takes 6-12 months.it is very hard to get visa befor october

wheres your home country. you might be better off applying in your home country (depending on where it is) than buffalo.

How did you score 87 ? Seems like a longshot to get that kind of score without a permanent job offer in Canada and scoring high points for both English and French.

What is the breakup of your score ???

I am from India(kolkata)..

Thanks a lot guys

It looks like ND visa office is moving faster than Buffalo. This is based on the information we have from this forum and of course, it can change but if I were you, I would rather use NS as my visa office.

apply through New Delhi... it's much faster...

i think all visa offices have been asked to reduce their average processing time. offices like ND and ISB, which are traditionally slow are working their asses off.. and fast offices of the past like Buffalo and London are slow in comparison. Because they must already be on their target :)

this was hypothetical, but logical... :)

I also reviwed couple of forums and it seems New Delhi is definately faster than Buffalo at present. So considering the risks, I think you should apply from New Delhi. Dont forget to collect your state and FBI PCC before you leave US. Also these certificates should not be less than 3 months old. So plan accordingly. All the best
