I'm not sure if this is where this belongs, or if it even belongs on this site at all but I need help trying to figure out stuff. Please someone on this site help me!

My boyfriend is american, I am canadian. We are looking to get married, in the end I want to be american BUT we were wondering if we could get married in Canada, then fill out all the forms and such for the immigrating process. I'm so confused with this all, and all I want is to be with him. Someone please help me with advice, or anything really.

Yes, you can get married in Canada. You need ID, birth certificates and if either one of you was married before, you need proof of the first marriage having ended.

However, this is a Canadian immigration forum so if you want him to sponsor you for a green card so you can live in the US, I don't think you will find many people where who know all that much about that process.
