Hi everyone, I've been reading on here a bit, but have just registered to try to get some help from so many knowledgeable people please!?
To cut a long story short, I grew up between UK and Canada, born in UK, had Canadian PR and had it taken away for spending too much time out of Canada. Challenged it, failed. This was 5 years ago. Since then I've been in UK. I'm devastated and terribly home sick, but have just got on with things.
My question is what is currently the best way for me to apply to get back into the country? I am so confused reading about all the ways. I am now 43 so not eligible for all these great younger person programs, I have only one family member in Canada and that is an Aunt, she is in Newfoundland.
I would like to get into Newfoundland, but if it's easier I would start off in another province.
My only problem is my skills are not that great, I have a degree but do not work in that field (arts - surprise). I have other qualifications but have not worked in those fields either in the last 10 years. I am experienced in Admin, learning support, sales management, and some other basic things like that.
Can anyone suggest what my best route might be? Should I talk to a consultant? Are there any good ones?
Thanks anyone!
