HELP! me and my spouse both received ITA, can both of us accept it ?

me and my spouse both received ITA, can both of us accept it ?
We answered "YES" to "Are you coming with a spouse" . Our points are very close, we get similar score in age, education, IELTS, work experience.....
My question is, if both of us accept ITA and submit documents, will it be rejected because this against some rules from CIC? We want to accept both to see if more chance to succeed...

....and you are going to file 2 separate applications (for each primary applicant) that costs thousands of dollars. There is no "chance" in the CIC process, as long as you have NOT lied on your profile.

Why would you do that?
You both have got ITA, choose any one of the ITA profile where the primary applicant has all the correct documents and complexity is less.
