Hi, I just realized I might have submitted outdated information in my pr application (cec stream)back in august, Is my application in danger?

Here is my situation:

I submitted my profile in June and at the time I was still working, so I answered yes to 'is this your current job?'. I received my invitation to apply in July and start to gather my documents. I got my then employment letter stamped by the end of July. I stopped working in early August due to some complication with my visa issue, finished gathering my documents and submitted my profile at the end of the August. I just realized that at the time of submission, I was already not working and I didn't update part in my original application.

how serious is my mistake and am I able to fix it? Should I update with cic?

Call CIC and tell them about your concern, have your application number ready.
Do note that your score 480 will have 50 pts reduction due to no job offer. Based on CIC information (from their website), if you lose your job, and CRS pts got changed, it will depend on what is the current pool points. If you fall within the pool's pts, no worries. If not, they will either reject it or you decline your application. But you can re-apply/create a new profile and wait for the pool or something. These details are also found on the ITA letter. You need to inform them ASAP.

Better check the CIC website and/or call them.

Hi, I stopped working because I didn't apply bowp in time. So to avoid breaking the law I talked to my boss and he agree to let me stop working. He is supportive and so I do still have my job offer. The only thing changed is that i stopped working in early august. Will this be better? Another question is is this a serious offense to make mistake like this?

Really no idea on your case.. better call cic to get proper instructions than with us making speculations or suggestions with regards to your case.

Call them: +1 (613) 944-4000 and select the option like “..make changes on your application..” or if you know your VO like ottawa, email them.

Well if you are applying under the CEC stream with a NOC code it shouldn't matter that you aren't working right now.. as long as you have already completed at least 12 months full-time work experience in Canada (legally) under the NOC code for which your application is based. The CEC stream is based on time worked, not if you're currently working. However the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) stream is.. that requires a job offer and LMIA as part of the application... but you are CEC right? I think you might be mixing these 2 streams and their requirements up in this case.
