HELP!!!! IRCC reassessing eligibility requirements months after receiving AlP

Hi Guys, I need some insights about inland application, as I cannot find similar cases on google.

I applied inland in August 2023, and everything seemed going in the normal procedure: received AOR in September, AIP and SA in October, criminality also passed. Only thing left had been security and info sharing.
Then in January things started to go weird. First my BCG was updated to in progress on the tracker, but it had been shown in progress for months. Then, a week later in February, my eligibility was flicked from completed to in progress. Finally, in March I received an information letter from IRCC, saying that they are reassessing my eligibility requirements and I should disregard my AIP, but I don't need to do anything yet. Then, I contacted my MP, who told me my eligibility is in progress, criminality not started, securing in progress; other things have completed.

Upon receiving "ghost" updates of BCG in January, I ordered the GCMS notes, part which gets my attention:
1. My info sharing was completed on the same day when my BCG had the "ghost" update.
2. On the same day, there started a second entry to my criminality, which is not started. The first entry to my criminality was completed upon me giving my bio in October.
3. Again, on the same day, an officer left a note saying "file referred to Stage one review"

I called IRCC yesterday for updates, but nothing has changed: eligibility in progress, security in progress and criminality not started.

Guys, please offer insights here. I am just extremely confused with this situation here.

I think the early AIP was sent premature (before criminally and background check). So they are just trying to "fix that mistake". I don't think there is anything you can do but wait for the next step once IRCC communicate that with you.

Thank you for your reply!
But isn't eligibility only concerns about if the relationship with the sponsor is genuine or not? How is that related to criminality and BCG??

Anyone?? Please help providing insights if you can.
Order your GCMS notes. Without knowing the full details of your application, I don't think it's possible for any of us to really guess what the issue might be.

Yes, I already have my GCMS notes. Here are some points that got my attention:
1. In the office note section, an officer left a note saying "file referred to Stage one review". I suppose this mean reassessment of eligibility.
2. There are two entries to my criminality: one completed upon having my bio, the other is new and is "not started".
3. Info sharing is completed on the same day when the two points mentioned above occurred.

Is there anything in your immigration or personal history that could be causing a concern?

I can't name any. Neither my sponsor nor I have any criminality history, and I have been living in Canada for the past 10 years under study permit.

Haha. Yeah 10 yrs of study permit is long, but it is from undergrad to PhD.
Your sponsor was born in Canada? Any previous sponsorships? Are you living with your sponsor?

And you were declared as a non-accompanying dependent in your partner's PR application and completed a medical / provided PCCs as part of that process?

No, I was not on my partner's PR application. We started our relationship after the application was submitted.

But you said that you've been living together for five years and your partner got PR last year. So you would have been common law at the time your partner got PR.
