For anyone still stuck at 6.5 in Writing, compare a recent response with the public band descriptors before doing another full test. These describe what examiners assess. For Task 2, underline your answer to every part of the question. Then check each body paragraph. Does it explain one clear point, or list several ideas without developing them? Ask for feedback that quotes specific sentences and identifies recurring problems. Rewrite those sections yourself. A score alone will not tell you what to change.
