Hi guys, I am preparing for OOPNP. When I am about to download the application forms I had a problem.
I can't open the website we are supposed to download the application forms "http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/EE_FORM". I tried so many times on 2 laptops and 1 computers at home but still failed. Everytime I was told

"The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader.
For information on how to install Adobe Reader and configure your viewing environment please see http://www.adobe.com/go/pdf_forms_configure."

Actually I downloaded the required Adobe reader several times but still failed on 2 laptops and 1 computer. Have you ever had this problem? What should I do next if I can't download the forms! :'( :'( :'(

Please help! I

You might be trying to open the pdf directly in the browser.
Once you open the page in the browser, go to file -> save as and save the pdf on your computer.
Now open the saved pdf file with adobe reader on your system, it would open.

The reason it is not opening in browser is because of editable scripts present in the pdf application. Hope this helps. Let us know if you are able to do it.

Thank you so much for your reply. Sorry I didn't say it clearly. The problem is not that I can't download the forms, but that I can't open the PDF and can't even see the forms, let alone save them! So depressed! :'( :'(

I did it just now and I was able to open it properly :)
Ok... can you try this... Open the link in IE, once the page loads completely with that adobe message, right click and select save as and save the pdf.
Download latest adobe reader: https://acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/products/pdf-reader.html
Try opening it :)

Yup, it worked fine for me. Try a different browser if the one you are using doesn't work.

noob question to others: Do I fill-in the pdf and then print it, or are we supposed to fill-in the form by hand (using a pen, I mean)? I know, it is a very silly question, but my handwriting has never been something I could be proud of and I do prefer typing ::)

Yes, you can fill the pdf and then print them out. You will need to mention as 'Not aPPLICABLE' ins ections that does not apply to you. This can be hand written after you print the form
