HELP! GOT MR Request with NO AOR or ITA

Hi,
I applied for old CEC Spet 2014 Application. Recently (last week) I tried applying for Express Entry but didnt get much points. Today I got both medical request for my EE application for me and my husband. Thats the first reply I got for the EE application. I did not get any ITA or AOR? IS this normal? Do I proceed with the Medical?

Did you get your MR directly in your email with a PDF attachment? If so, it must have been from your 2014 CEC application.

Medicals for EE are upfront. No MRs are issued.

Yes I got it via Email with attachments for IMM1017E.

But the Application number showing is different from the Application number I got for my old CEC Application AOR. Is that still correct?

Try checking both application numbers on ECAS and see what comes up. If it's true what you say that you have two different application numbers, then CIC will have linked them. It may also be possible you are looking at the wrong number, maybe the UCI?

I still believe that MR is for your CEC application.

In express entry its not that you create your profile and your process will start ... once you create your profile you need to register in job bank after that depending on your points you gets ITA if it crosses the cutoff ... and then you submit your documents .... so if you did not do all these activities then its defiantly not your EE profile ... the medical request must be for your 2014 application ....pls double check ...good luck
