I've been in a relationship for almost 2 years and planning to marry my fiance here in Canada, he is from the US. I have children here from a previous marriage and therefore we would like to reside here. Can he come to visit and marry me while here and extend his stay? Does he need a visitor visa to stay and marry me? How soon before he can work? What is the easiest way to make this happen?

The first thing he needs to do is get his FBI police certificate as it takes 3 months to get.
If you submit a complete application and he has no criminal or other issues, some applicants are getting their confirmation of permanent residence in a month!
