Help for Fill out the Form of IMM0008

Dear Friends,

If apply for family Immigration within Canada how to answer the IMMooo8 Item 4 : Immigration Office Requested for Processing this application.

Which Visa office should be filled out ?

Firstly, you need to know whether you are applying 'outland' or 'inland'. Are you aware of the pro's and con's of each AND that you may or may not have a choice in that?

If it's 'outland', then for eg. in our case with the applicant (my wife) being from the Philippines, our processing VO was Manila, and we put that down.

If you want to apply inland and your spouse is already in Canada with you then you should put CPC Vegreville

Thank you so much for help. It's inland application.

According to the Form 5289 indication, I only find Visa office of CPP-O for fill out for item 4.
I know the Application should be sent to CPC Vegreville for first stage review , then what is the second stage?
Remain in CPC Vegreville and send passport there if everything is OK?

Sorry for the mixup :-[

CPC Vegreville, is the place to send the inland application and will asses your eligibility to sponsor (stage 1), all inland applications of US and Canada (2nd stage) is processed by Case Pilot Processing- Ottawa (CPP-O), so that is correct you should put CPP-O there.

At the second stage Medical, security, background checks and other verifications for person being sponsored are checked.

I am not sure but the CPP-O works as any other Visa office, so medicals, passports, police records will be handled by this office.

Current CPC-V processing time is 6 months and 8 months for CPP-O

I am an outland so other inland experienced members may post their experience.
