Help ....Filing Complaint against Registered Consultant

Hi

I am from India and I want to know how to file a complaint against the registered consultants in Toronto. The Consultancy firm robbed my 12000 CAD in the name of Work Permit. Several times I contacted them and they informed me that they can refund only 1500 CAD. Unfortunately, they didn't raised any receipt fr the payments which I have done.

Kindly advice what i have to do further. This is big cheating and they are stilling retaining in Canada. I want to file a complaint in this regard.

Which consultancy is that ? You can certainly file complain. The details are given at CIC website. Do you have any receipts of money paid to them ? How did you pay money via bank or through western union ?

No, they didn't issued any receipt. I had paid 5500 CAD through Bank and balance 6500 CAD by Cash through my friend who is in Canada. Please advise...

If you really have no proof of the payments then it will be difficult to do anything further and you'll have to consider the money lost. Do you have emails that discuss these payments?

As a general rule in life, if it sounds too good to be true - it probably is.

Yes I had mailed the details as follows while making the payment through my friend:-

Sir,
Today I have arranged my friend Mr. Tinu, to make the payment of 6500CAD by cash at your office at 11'am.

Kindly acknowledge the receipt.

They are registered with the ICCRC so that is who you would file the complaint with.

Hi Seniors,

I had lodged a complaint against the agency with ICCRC and the director of complaint & discipline of ICCRC directed me to immediately file a complaint in small claim court. Yes I informed my friends in Toronto for further proceedings. Please seniors need your advice in this regard.

Can you inform me, what are other mode for making complaint against these ICCRC members. We have already planned to file a complaint in Civil Court as per the direction of the director of ICCRC. Besides, I also want to lodge complaint to other authorities in Canada. I heard that Canadian Government is more cooperative in this regard. Please share any authorities address for the same.

Kindly gather for prevent the work permit fraud against this agency in Canada. Please forward any updates regarding filing complaint at any other authority. Can CIC play a vital role in this matter? Please advice. I am planing to inform fraudulent activities of ICC Canada Immigration to the M P of Toronto. Hope he will help us in this matter.

Yes, go ahead and complaint to the MP. He might be a big help in this case. Also complaint to CIC.

If you want to get your money back, you will most likely have to pursue them through the UAE court system.

Note that some consultants will say they are registered with IRCC when they in fact are not.
