Hi,

I have a doubt regarding how long will my Post-graduation Work Permit be for 16 months Accelerated Program. It is a 4-semester program in which a 2-year program is shortened to 16 months with not breaks between the semesters.

Hence will my work permit be for 16 months or for 3 years, since it is technically a 2-year program, shortened to 16 months (4 semesters)

if you fill 16 months program on your application form you will get 16 months .

I finished fast track 2 year program in 16 months like you did and i filled 2 years on my application and received 3 year work permit .
Good Luck :)

That's great !! Congratulations on getting 3 yrs work permit :)
However, I'm worried that didn't your certificate say you have done a 16 months program and won't they check that ?

Accelerated programs
If you complete your study program in less time than the normal length of the program, you may be eligible for a PGWP valid for the full length of your program.

For example, if you complete a 1 year study program in 8 months, you may be able to get a PGWP valid for 1 year.

It's always good to explain to the VO when you submit your PGWP app.
