Dears,

In the future, when i enter the canadian customs for study permit, i will use the master offer (which i used for visa application in my country) to get it.
But if i don't want to go to the uni for the master program, instead, i want to go to a college, is that ok - even i notify the cic that i change the school? what about the permit renewing next year? any bad influence?

anyway i don't think i can get a college offer for this september considering the time now.
so, most probably i will apply for the college next september, i.e. right after finishing the one-year master program, i want to start the 3-year college program,
is it all right to get the new study permit? it seems not good, because a master degee obtained, then to study a college program ....

please help! Thanks a lot!

or now i apply for some non-good college major(still available right now) for the first year and study this major, still discard the one-year master offer, tuition fee of college is much cheaper
then next year start the college program i really want

is this method all right?
how to notify cic?

pls help
thanks a lot

Whatever you choose to do, remember that as of June 1, 2014, CIC has begun cracking down on students who arrive in Canada and change their plans - i.e., changing their course of study, or withdrawing from their studies and pursuing a job. This is to prevent abuse or misuse of the international student program.

If you withdraw from the program for which you received your study permit, you must inform CIC immediately. You can't study anything else or do anything else in Canada without getting new authorization from CIC first.
