Help: Delayed TRV processing time due to delayed biometric payment

Hello,

I applied for temporary resident permit (TRV) on April 6, 2022. Due to a misunderstanding, I missed paying the biometric processing fee at the same time of my online visa application and this has caused a stressful delay in the processing of my application. I need to attend a conference in Canada on July 23, 2022.

I have separately payed the biometric fee online and have sent the payment receipt to the Canadian Visa Office in London through IRCC webform (since I live in Sweden). I am now waiting for the biometric instruction letter to book a time for giving my biometric.

Should I do something else to fix this mistake in order to avoid more delay?

I have done same mistake of missing biometrics fee in the first application and submitted another application with biometrics fee next hour. Received BIL for second application same day and given Biometrics next day. My both applications got biometrics updated correctly. I also sent webform to IRCC explaining the reason for submitting 2 applications

I have not yet raised request for refund and my priority is to get visa processing without delay
