Hello All!

I received the request for the Medical Exams last week and I already had my consult and exams on Monday. The doctor in Halifax - NS gave me a form "Information Sheet" with photo, bar code and a few information and told me I should send it to CIC so they are aware that I already performed the exams (he told me e-medical system takes around 2 to 3 months to send them this info.)

Has anyone done that? I didn't receive any instructions about that on the CIC notification...

By the way, I applied under the NSNP in the normal paper process.

Thanks in advance!

I do not think it would takes 2-3 months to send medical results via e-medical
FYI, I used the services of an e-medical based clinic for my medical exam, it took 5 calendar days from "Medical done" to "Medical results have been received"

since day u done your medical to update on ECAS around takes 3 weeks. sometime little late to
update but from doctors report update to cic shouldn't take more than 2 weeks.

Maybe your doctor doesn't have e-medical system.. Why would he tell you that the t takes 2-3 months? Everyone knows that once doctor submits the results CIC has it right away in their system, and then it takes time until they approve it I guess..

He does have the e-medical system, the file he gave me actually came from e-medical... I really don't understand, and I even came back to his office to ask again about that and he said the same thing. He is the only doctor for Halifax - NS and has been for years, but I can't find anybody that had the exams with him to help me with this...
