**Help** CEC Requirement and qualification

Hi,
I'm hold PGWP now, and work few places and years after graduate.
I want to apply under CEC from my two jobs:
•July 2015-Feb 2016 NOC A
•Mar 2016-present NOC B (Part-Time, around 25 hours a week)

As the CIC website says “Your skill work experience doesn’t have to be continuous but it must total one year of full-time work altogether”- Am I qualified?

Or should I just wait until I gain 1950 hours from my present part-time job?

I also have 2 more NOC A work experience before, but both of them are only 3 months since the companies closed down…
I’m not sure which work experience can I use or none of them?

Cannot tell from the information above; probably you do qualify, but would need EXACT dates to be able to calculate correctly. (Despite the fact that the profile only asks for month and year, your actual eligibility will be calculated based on exact dates)

• Mar 10th 2013-Dec 31st 2014 NOC A (graduated from July 1st 2014 so I cant count the date before)
Company close down
• Mar 1st 2015-June 22nd 2015 NOC A. Company financial problem and closed down…
• July 1st 2015- March15th 2016 NOC A
• Feb 29th 2016-present NOC B (Part-Time, around 25 hours a week)

26 weeks from July 1

Company close down
• Mar 1st 2015-June 22nd 2015 NOC A. Company financial problem and closed down…

15 weeks

• July 1st 2015- March15th 2016 NOC A
~36 weeks

• Feb 29th 2016-present NOC B (Part-Time, around 25 hours a week)
37 weeks *25 hours/30= 30 FTE weeks


I have estimated the weeks (you should count them yourself). With the last 2 jobs only, you have the equivalent of at least 66 FTE weeks - you meet the 1 year requirement.

If you are able to document your first two jobs as well, that gives you at least 2 years (more points).

Sorry I thought you were asking the date I worked... I will do conculation again when I'm filing papers.

For those two jobs which closed down, I don't know what are the qualified documents to prove my work experience...
Does letter from employment counts? Or my T4 counts ??


I searched online tried to find the answered but not really much resources...

I was asking for the dates, so that the # of weeks can be counted. But it's YOUR application, you can spend the time to count the weeks : )

Same as for the other jobs. You can also provide your Record of Employment for each of your previous jobs. Contact Service Canada if you don't have one.
