Hey ppl,

is info in caips 100% correct? and why i do not get break down of my assessment points rather just a total?

CAIPS is an acronym for Computer Assisted Immigration Processing System. It is part of Electronic Data Processing (EDP) used by the Canadian Immigration Offices to process visa applications. Possibilities are there for any human (clerical ) error while making data entries from the individual applications consists of various forms,documents and certificates!!!!.

It is the same as mine I guess. The total score is 67 but there is no breakdown of points earned except for the age. Mine is written this way:

Age: 10
Occuupational Factor: 00
ETF/S.V.P.: 00
EXPERIENCE: 00
A.R.E: 00
DEMOGRAPHIC FACTOR: 00
EDUCATION: 00
ENGLISH:0
FRENCH:0
BONUS:0
SUITABILITY:
TOTAL: 67

Is yours the same??

AGE 10 and everything else 0 and Total 10

What does that mean?

I'm still waiting for passports with visas. I sent them May 5th. Will it be worth it to order caips notes at this point? I try to cantact them by e mail and by fax but still no answer.

There are a few abbreviations in your caip notes that i do not know the meaning. ETF/S.V.P, DEMOGRAPHIC FACTOR, and bonus points.

I do not know where these points fall under the six main factors.

Could someone help to explain to me.

What stage was your application , before you applied for Caips Notes? Mine is in porcess and i do not know if it is the right time to apply for Caip notes.
