I am on Post Graduate Work permit which will expire in Aug 2016. My wife came to Canada in Mid December 2015 on visitor visa status (Multiple entry). She is eligible to stay in Canada till mid-June 2016.
I applied for spouse open work permit in late december 2015. At that time there was more than 6 months time on my work permit. But since CIC is taking more than 4 months time to process Work permit application, I am expecting that a decision on this application will come around May 2016.
Now if CIC will make a decision on my wife's open Work permit in May, then there will be less than 6 months left on my work permit. Considering all this, Is CIC going to give work permit to my wife in May 2016??
Also in my wife's work permit online application. CIC didnt ask for my employment letter/financial documents. so I didnt upload all these documents with the application? Do you forsee an issue because of this? Please let me know.
