Hello there friends,
I've lived in the US for about 4 years, as I'm green card holder... and I found a Canadian lady with same background, we got married since March/2018...I live in canada with her since then. We decide to apply for( canadian open work permit+ PR) my concern is I have one count of misdemeanor which is (paying money for sex) I been cought in what so called (police sting operations) I paid 100$ as fine and everything was done. That thing is in my record. Is that gonna be a reason to be deported from Canada or to get denial on my application??? I just have that count in whole my life and it concern me alot. Please respond me. Thank you
The date of incident was :
September 28/2017
I got probation for 2 years which is (not visiting any prostitution websites)
I entered Canada thru the land in B.C border and they didn't ask me anything, the officer just scanned my Green Card, couple questions and let me go...
I appreciate any help.

Looks like a maximum 6 month/$5K fine in Canada, so you should be ok. Check with a good immigration lawyer just to be certain.
Based on your post, you are either out of status or very close to being out of status (unless you have applied to extend your stay). Your WP will be refused if you don’t have status when you apply inland. You might want to follow up on that before you apply.

I called the ircc office and as you said my WP is postponed (because my statue was expired! ) and they told me you have to wait for the principal applicant /application to be determined which takes about 6-8 months!!! I've done the medical exam in January 2019. Do you guys think they'll refuse my PR application too because of the same reason? (expired visa/iut of statue) or that doesnt impact
Thanks
