Can I get the draft of the funds that I am supposed to carry from someone( freind/relative) in canada / USA
or is it a must that it comes from my account.

or is it a must that it comes from my account.

The money either has to be in your account/name. Now I suppose that the draft will be in your name only (You would be the Payee). So it will work.
