Hello guys n girls

Hi everyone. My name is John. For several years I have been chewing over the idea of immigrating to Canada and today is kind of like my first step toward that journey and toward a new and exciting life. I found this forum several minutes ago and you guys all seem like a really helpful lot with some of the threads I was browsing over.

If you have any questions about me pls feel free to ask. I am basically looking to immigrate to Canada. At the moment I have no idea how to go about this. By profession I am a computer programmer for 12 years now and I have a college degree. I am from Cape Town - South Africa and working in a corporate environment. I have a fairly decent life here however I have know for over a decade now that the time will come where I must move on and follow my heart and after giving it much consideration my heart it leaning towards Canada.

Anyway I look forward to my time here on this forum and I know there is nothing simple about immigration so I have no fooled myself into thinking this will be easy. I just need to do this the right way. I appreciate in advance any assistance or advice you guys can provide me.

I will be doctoring up some questions later and start taking some small steps in this direction.

You need to spend time researching Canada's immigration programs if you are serious about immigrating. Recommend you start with the Express Entry program.
