HEC Reverification/Reattestation - Pakistani Candidiates

Dear All,

I have done my original BBA degree + transcript attested from HEC Islamabad in December 2011, since there was no HEC Regional office in Karachi. However, now I am sending my documents to WES for ECA and would like advice as to how I should proceed with the HEC?

What is the process of reattestation/reverification of HEC degree +transcript? Furthermore, do I need one or can I used my december 2011 attestation for WES credential assessment?

I think you don't need to get new attested photocopies. Current attested copies will be fine.

Just go to HEC Karachi office along with Attested Transcript and Certificate copies. Give them these two copies along with an envelope. They will put the copies in the envelope and seal and stamp the envelope for you. This should be a free service.

But if you don't want to take any risk, you can get new attested copies from HEC. The procedure is simple. I recently got my copies attested from HEC Lahore. The whole procedure is given on HEC website hec.gov.pk/DAS

Just follow the instructions there and you'll get the new attested copies (if you want) in a single day.

I just don't want to take the risks. I am asking HEC to attest two new photocopies of my transcript and degree. One I will keep for my record, the second one i will send it to WES in a sealed envelope.

Do I need to put the academic request form in HEC sealed envelope or not?

No, academic request form is not required in the sealed envelope from HEC.
