Having Work experience Problem

Hi, I have applied CHC Islamabad in April 2005
My job experience starts from Oct 1995 till Mar 2008 mor then 12 years. Now I am running my own private school.Can anyone guide me this will effect my case because I have changed profession. I am still waiting and my case is in process since 2005. Have I got the minimum experience of four years?
Not informed immigration about changing my profession.When Canadian immigration is starting to process cases of 2005?
