Is it okay to give edited images(with edits such as highlights, circles) as proof?

The way I am doing it is - I am creating images of documents, then editing those images, and then adding them to the PDF rather than highlighting them on a PDF itself. So the officer will be seeing an image of everything with marks and highlights, and not text on a PDF that has been highlighted.

Kindly let me know.

Thanks!

I wouldn't edit documents.

Why do you feel you need to edit a document?

Just to highlight things, such as salary deposits in the bank from the employer.
Bad idea. Submit docs as is. Use an LOE if you absolutely need to bring attention to particular points for the officer processing your application.

that's not what they need the bank account for..... i wouldn't touch the documents to be honest, like other commenters said , just mention it in the LOE if needed
