As per my knowledge, her ESR can be high when CBC test done during cold/fever/viral infection. Possibly DMP may ask to comeback for investigation after one or two weeks.(?). Therefore I suggest let her take some medication and go for medical once she recover from the present condition. There is no chance for adverse results. Good luck!!!

I think they don't go for CBC!!!!

I would recommend that if she is on anti biotics maybe just re-schedule to be safe - reason being that chest can be heavy and also anti biotics sometimes raise blood pressure. my 2 cents.
