Haven't received my new SIN after 8+ months

I applied to renew my SIN on March 2021 and so far I haven't received any updates in my email or mail. Has anybody been in this situation? Should I re-apply? I also tried sending an email but no response. I sent the email to IRCC but if there is any other email that I can use please let me know.

IRCC does not process SIN numbers. (I assume new as there's no such thing as renewing).

Call Service Canada or go in to Service Canada office or apply again. Personally I would try the office if feasible for you. But that doesn't exclude the others.
