Hello All
I have posted on here several times regarding a visitors visa...and thank everyone for the help. We got it.
My husband is Jamaican, and I am Canadian. I have lived in Jamaica with him since our marriage. We are kinda thinking it's time to go abroad. I would like to go back to school and so on, plus we want a better life for our family since we are thinking about kids.
I will be filing for my husband and step daughter. I have been looking stuff up on the Canadian site but and struggling to find the info I need. I called immigration and they said it was a different process because I'm filing from Jamaica where I legally reside instead of the usual filing from Canada. I was told normally when you file from Canada...for most people in regards to marriage its right afterwards and you file the forms, show proof of relationship, that you hold a steady job, show proof of income etc etc.
But for us we live in Jamaica together. So it's a different process. I was also told it's different forms.
I am so lost. I am having zero luck finding stuff on the website.
I am asking for anyone who has a clear understanding of how this all works to please give me as much info as possible. I want to file correctly the first time. I also need to know know what the process is, how to file, where to find the forms, how to file for my step-daughter and so on.
Any help is so greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
