Hi. I am trying to find a solution for my friend.
He is from India.
In Jun 2014 he applied for Work Permit under Cook category with Positive LMo, He got approved and landed in Canada on Sep 2014. He was granted visa and work permit only upto July 2015. Due to his passport expire on Aug. Now he recently renewed his passport. His visa and Wp expire on July 2015.
When I checked online portal for his application eligibility. It shows he may qualify to Apply for wp with LMIA or Temporary resident visa.
Now what is the possible solution for him to stay in Canada, His LMO shows the employment duration is 2 years . He's in closed work permit.
