Have my result, wondering if I should retake it

Hello all,

I have already finished my IELTS and I got the following results. I am applying through CEC and my job is type A. I know I have already met the requirement, but 6.5 in writing really makes me feel upset. (I went off topic in task 2)

Listening: 8.0
Reading: 7.0
Writing: 6.5
Speaking: 8.5
Overall: 7.5

Should I retake the test? My writing skill is definitely above 6.5, but I went off topic. Therefore, I am thinking that I should rewrite the test. However, I don't want to wait for another 3 months for the next test date. I also don't want to take a whole day off from work to write the test.

Why bother if you meet the language criteria already? Waste of time and money.

got an ielts total band score of 7.5
listening=9, reading=7, writing=7, speaking=6.5
im nervous about the my speaking score, someone told me that i should get a 7 each to qualify, is this true? im applying for fsw class

You need at least 6 to qualify, so you are good to go.
